Top-quality Action Moving Pictures to Watch this Weekend
Sunday, February 21st, 2010For almost twenty years Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg have been asked about revisiting the Indiana Jones action movie franchise. The 3rd film, Indiana Jones and the last Crusade, hit theaters in 1989 and since then a infinite of authors have had a dig at arising with what near likely will be the last Indiana Jones movie for the 65-year-old Ford, who may be passing his fedora to Shia LaBeouf with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. If this is Ford’s last time stepping into the Indiana Jones theatrical persona, Spielberg by all odds tried to send him out with a slam.
Rambo (2008) is the fourth installment of the popular enfranchisement of the same title leading Sylvester Stallone as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. After twenty years since the last flick of the famed action movie series, Vietnam war veteran John Rambo has moved back to northern Thailand, and become a waterman at Salween River in Myanmar. He followed a group of mercenaries for a resue mission to help the people of a damaged hamlet. The mission begins good until the Burmese army attacks the settlement, killing innocent villagers and some fellow members of missionaries. When the missioners neglect to come back after ten days, their pastor comes to Rambo, tells him what has transpired, and asks for his assistance in guiding hired soldiers of fortune to the hamlet to rescue other survivors who had been abducted by the Burmese. Despite the fact that he already sworn off all forms of force, he had no choice but to help the kidnapped mercenaries from the foes. He knows what he must do and this is his most dangerous mission to date.
Kill Bill is released in two distinct volumes (Kill Bill Vol. 1 in 2003 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 in 2004). The plot is adapted from a Japanese action flick Lady Snowblood (1973). It is a retaliation-themed action movie about the deadliest killer of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (DVAS) known as “The Bride” (represented by Uma Thurman). When The Bride determined to quit the group to get married because she’s pregnant, Bill (their boss) and her previous fellow workers destroyed the whole wedding ceremony and slayed all in there including her. The Bride lived that sad event and was in a coma for several years. As the Bride arouses from her extended ’sleep’, her psyche is set-up to take retaliation on those who betrayed her – to kill the members DVAS and Bill.
